Located in Kintamani, Bangli, Bali, Mount Batur is one of the most visited tourist attractions. There is also a lake with the same name, Lake Batur, in the area of Mount Batur. It is located in a high area, 1,050 meters above sea level with an area of 16 km square with an average depth of 50.8 km. According to the Batur Geopark Museum data, Mount Batur first erupted in 1804. It was when the main crater at the summit formed.
After Mount Agung, Mount Batur comes second as the highest mountain in Bali. It has a height of 1717 meters above sea level; Mount Batur is categorized as the active volcano. Getting to Mount Batur and Lake Batur
To get to Mount Batur, you will need to visit Kintamani. From Kuta, Sanur, Ubud and Nusa Dua, it takes 1 to 2 hours by driving a car or a motorcycle.
Lake Batur is located in Penelokan Utara Village, Kintamani District, Bangli Regency and is about 65 km from Denpasar. If you start the journey from Ngurah Rai Airport, the lake is about 1.5 – 2 hours by driving through Gianyar. However, if you start the journey from downtown Singaraja, you can reach Lake Batur through Kubutambah Village for about 1.5 hours or around 58 km.
The most practical and easiest way is to use the service of a travel agent. One more thing, the road to Lake Batur is quite winding and there are many uphills and downhills because it is located in the mountains. Usually, for a one-day car rental, you must pay IDR 400,000 – IDR 500,000 while motorcycle rental is around IDR 50,000. The traffic to and from Kintamani is always busy so you need to make sure that your body is fit enough to drive.

Getting around Mount Batur
Mount Batur is located in Kintamani. To get around in the area of Kintamani, you can use bemo (public transportation) or Trans Sarbagita bus. Other transportations are a rent car or motorcycle and ojek (motorcycle taxi).
The ticket price to enter the tourist area of Kintamani is IDR 15,000 for local tourist and IDR 30,000 for foreign tourist. To climb Gunung Batur, you need to pay IDR 75,000 for each person. Before climbing you need to register first and the registration fee is IDR 10,000 per person. For a guide, you will need to pay IDR 550,000/guide.

Getting to Lake Batur
The lake is located in Kintamani District, Penelokan Utara Village. When departing from Denpasar, the distance is approximately 64 km or about 2 hours driving. However, when departing from Singaraja, the distance is approximately 58 km or around 1.5 hours driving.
The route to the location of the lake is quite winding, like in the mountains in general. In addition, this route is always filled with motorists so it is very crowded, especially during the holiday season.

2. Ulun Danu Batur Temple
Ulun Danu Batur Temple is an old temple. The temple which was founded in 1926 is also known by several names including Ulun Danu Temple, Batur Temple or Bat temple. This temple is known as the second most important temple on the island of Bali, after Besakih Temple, of course. So it is not surprising that Hindu religious ceremonies are often performed in this place.
The Hindu community in Kintamani established the Ulun Danu Batur Temple as a form of respect to Dewi Danu, known as the goddess of rivers and lakes.
Batur Temple is a compound with nine temples. Inside the complex, there are also 285 pavilions and temples. Pavilions and temples in this temple were built specifically to pay respect to gods and goddesses of fertility, water, art and many more.

Getting to Ulun Danu Batur Temple
Ulun Danu Batur Temple is located in Kalanganyar Village in Kintamani District, Bangli Regency, Bali Island. This temple is approximately 30 kilometers from downtown Bangli.
To go to this place, you must travel about 90 kilometers from Ngurah Rai International Airport. To get here, you can use a rental car or motorcycle. It takes approximately 2.5 hours by drive.
Entrance Fee

Getting to Trunyan Village
The location of Trunyan Village is on the edge of Lake Batur. To reach Trunyan Village is not too difficult. You can travel by public transportation or a rental car which takes about 3 hours from Denpasar. The location is located in a small village in Batur, visitors can only get to this place with a small boat. You can just rent a boat at the Kedisan Pier. To ride a boat costs between IDR 50,000 and IDR 100,000 with a capacity for five people. The boat trip to Trunyan takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
